    The Iron Time

    Any idea of the price??

    Hello

Stephen has e-mailed me to say that the deluxe version is $165 and the standard version is $124.95, both plus $12 shipping, (I assume the shipping charge will be higher for overseas). He is taking advance orders as of now.

    I wonder...

Book and medal collectors are very diferent...

The book on the Maxim gun "The devils paintbrush" was expensive... until the expanded 2nd edition came out... them everyone was buying edition 2 and tosing their first versions...

Will the astronomical prices for the 1st version crash as everyone goes after version 2?

    best

    Chris

Ebay prices are still high on first edition, but should reduce once 2nd edition is released. Looking forward to the latter.

i just got my copy of "The Iron Time" second edition,

and am very pleased at first blush. almost 300 new

photos, and while i think it difficult to outdo stephen

    photographically, he has outdone himself!!

i look forward to sitting down to read it/peruse

    from cover to cover.

    (given north carolina's current temperature,

it will NOT be by a blazing fire with a hot

    cup of tea.)

    truly a Herculean effort!

I just opened my limited edition (Number 13) and it is magnificent!!!!! Still has the pic of the reverse of the 1870 EK1 (Lotig 14) on page 119 I bought vis a vis Stephen a few years ago which pleases me.
