Paul R Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Beautiful examples! How many known variations of these were there?
Paul R Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Nice!! I have never seen a removable spange before!!
Richard Gordon Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 My only 2 examples (both are curved early patterns)
Avitas Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Here is my mini 16mm tall ek2 spange mounted on a ribbon bar. This is the smallest spange I have seen, are there any smaller than this?
gregM Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 (edited) Here are a couple of small ones. The bigger one on the right is 8.8mm tall. The combo on the left is 15.3mm tall with the spange being only 6.2mm tall.[attachmentid=37626] Edited May 3, 2006 by gregM
ekhunter Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Here's my L/13 Maker Marked guy:Did they make prinzen ek 2's with four prongs on the back and a maker's mark of a number 5 inside of a square? I have one of these and I'm not not sure if it is real. Will try to post later. Thanks.
ekhunter Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I also found one I have marked L/4 and another one unmarked. I'm going to try to post these tomorrow night, I don't know that much about them to say for sure that they are Pre-45. The one with the 5 inside of the square box is unusual. If anyone knows anything about these, it will be greatly appreciated.
Dave B Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 If my memory serves me correctly I think Gordon had an EK1 spange marked 5..I could be wrong though.Hopefully Gordon will see this thread and answer your question for you.Dave
