GdC26 Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 The news is out on other forums, but oddly not here: sadly, fellow member Adler 1 (Karel van Bxxxxxxx) recently passed away. I did not know Karel personally, but always enjoyed hiss liberally shared insights interesting and educating. This thread showing his wonderful collection seems a fitting place to commemorate Karel, so please take a moment to commemorate him. Kind regards, Sandro
ccj Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 (edited) I learned it yesterday and was shocked. Karel was very friendly and helpful to me. I didn’t know him other than as a fellow collector but based on all conversations he was a first class man. It’s a tragic loss to his family and all of us collectors. Edited July 14, 2020 by ccj

graham Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 Although I never knew Karel, I will say that his collection is quite astonishing and as good as most museum collections I have seen. It is always sad to hear of a fellow collector passing and I wish his family my sincerest condolences.
