Hello, I've like to see opinions of the silver-gilt Pour le Merite.

Looks like a 1920's made piece, based on the design of the tail-feathers. Check out Andreas S-I's website (medalnet). He has wartime examples there, and you can compare the feathers to see the difference.

Is it one that you are considering?

Even if it is a 1920 PlM, it is a nice exemplar. And what about the ribbon, a pure wartime or postwar ribbon ?

PlM ribbons are tricky for me... it looks

good

to me compared to known examples in photos but some of the guys in the forum seems to be really knowledgeable on this type ribbon.

Nice cross, probably from the 1920s or 1930s. I think the ribbon is a WWII or postwar ribbon.

I've seen this cross before at auction, I'm sure of it. Almost bid on it back then...
