Garde-Grenadier-Regiment „Königin Elisabeth“. Is that his Stammregiment where he became Fahnenjunker? Here are his parents: Otto Ernst von Trotha (1804–1878) and his wife Charlotte Wilhelmine Bernhardine, geb. von Kerssenbrock aus dem Hause Helmsdorf (1804–1882).
