Zulu_00 Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 I'm curious why some cities have instituted awards and others haven't? I know Kamianets-Podilskyi has two awards but both are for outstanding merit instead of general campaign awards.

Most of the dead are awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class. Thank you for the information. I was asking because my wife and I were informed earlier this week that my 28 year son was killed in action while serving with the International Legion. John

Megan Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 Another of the city/regional awards. I would think. Thank you for sharing... and good to see that you are still around, Ura87.

Perhaps you are right, but the document says that the award is from the Chief of the Kharkiv Garrison, so I don't know if it's a regional award or a military one.
Rocket Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Ura87, I have a question I was hoping you could answer. I've noticed that several modern Ukrainian medals appear to have the same 28mm wide ribbon. Is the 28mm wide ribbon the standard for all Ukrainian medals? Thanks. John
