Mike Huxley
Lew, What's the point of posting these after the auction has finished. I would think it is advantageous to most people to see what forum member consider to be genuine items before the auction ends. I appreciate that this could attract more bidders, but at least we could be sure the item was at least genuine. Stogieman
When we talk about real items and stupid behavior here’s a most excellent example! Seller from Austria has a beautiful, cased Albert 2mS. Has them listed separately!

I appreciate that this could attract more bidders, but at least we could be sure the item was at least genuine. The point is to archive the good stuffs sold on ebay including photos and ending price, cause the information will disappear after certain time. It happened a lot to me that I remember seeing something interesting on ebay but information was long gone when I want to dig it up for reference or discussion. Or often discussing with someone how much things cost back then and what's the trending. To be completely honest here, I strongly against posting links and information of any ongoing auctions, for not spoiling any purchasing plan from any member here including myself. I can mention that I'm a member in another well known collector's forum, and over there is this written rule about posting links and full information of ongoing ebay auctions are strictly forbidden. In case of questions and discussions needed regarding identification etc. they should take place in separate posts, again I strongly suggest to only post photos in those cases. In case any dangerous fake is spotted we of course should reveal it right away, in separate post as well, in fact several members are doing this continuously, even keep tracking of specific dealers who sells mainly fakes in dedicated thread. 34 minutes ago, VtwinVince said: What's going on with the price of that HOH? The linked cross sold by Emedals is not one of the awarded crosses before 1918. IMHO these could be made by Zimmermann before and after the war e.g. for private purchase. This type of inisgnia was also given by the exiled Kaiser in the later Doorn period. Compare the Wagner cross (awarded in 1918 to Generalleutnant von Eberhardt) : and a Zimmermann (?) cross (given to Dr. Adalbert Remmert in 1932 by the exiled Kaiser): Edited January 18 by Komtur
Stogieman
Nice Wurttemburg NCO bar, final bid was 970- Euro. Couple of scarce awards but seems pretty high to me!
Giannis S.
And it's the same as this one, which no one bid on. On 12/01/2024 at 01:35, lew said:
Bernd_W
Might be the description. Did it really end without any bid or was it ended before bidding ended? Edited January 21 by Bernd_W

Bernd_W
I'm native, so I know what's "Beendet" is. I asked because you can tell the difference, but not from this screenshot. See: Ended without any bid: Ended by the Seller before bidding ended: Later is the likely when something was sold behind eBays back.
Giannis S.
That was my thought about "Beendet" as well. You can't tell the difference. it is more likely that the seller terminated it prematurely.
Stogieman
Split into 2 lots by the seller but quite real. $535 combined final bid. Very nice cross on the trifold ribbon and as clean a case as I’ve seen

Bernd_W
You can see this here: Click on the "Gebote" behind "Preis" Then click on the top bidders masked username Here: 4***5. Not this is only a "false masked" username, the masked usernames in the final view (two screenshots above) have to be equal.

Bernd_W
That's a legit reason to ask for better pictures which tell what (Sure, a PLM, but what was the description) was sold for how much. The poster's battery or reception level is not so interesting. Did a quick scroll through the at German eBay sold PLMs but could not find this cased example.
