    1. That is fantastic quality! Is it sure that these are Generals awards? Could they be privately purchased?
    2. I dont even WANT a silly Luger...!! DONT think I am jealous, because I am not!
    3. The stars just have to be aligned right.... Try not to be a Prussian officer in a Prussian Regiment. Better to be a Prussian Officer, in a Bavarian Regiment, with a Würtemmberg connection, attached to a Saxon Division...
    4. Hi, Does anyone have any interesting Photos related to the Military and the railway system 1914-18? Thanks Chris
    5. Very likely a sporting medal that could be ordered by catalog and engraved for "whatever" best Chris
    6. Here is an Interesting one, the bottom of the Photo touches on the village of Vaux, botton right touches on the Vaux teich/Pond, and Fort Vaux is top Left. Bottom half right you can see the French MG positions that could take all of the Village, Teich etc under fire...
    7. Hear is the Vaux Teich/Dam Photo from april 1916 showing the French lines, the map about 40 days later, Red for French positions, Blue for German.
    8. That is indeed a find!! When i was in the archives there was a huge ledger will all the GSWA POWs, Wounded etc. etc.... i ordered it by chance, apparently noone has been able to find it in the order lists, I cannot remember what it was exactly listed under, but i think there was a provost Marchall collection on GSWA and it was in there somewhere.
    9. The Pionier/Navyguy/MW is an interesting mixture, 1916-17 in the Prippetsümpfen, I think he was transfered around a bit, seems like no Western front. An interesting combination.
