    1. Hi Rob, it's not just a case of one seller... (s)he's just the latest example. About 8 years ago I saw my first little NC EK2 in this style.... Then none.... Now, every month... Not the kind of odds I like on what should (remain) a rather scarce style/piece.
    2. I agree about Carsten Ziege... if you're a known buyer/bidder they will send you massive, detailed scans upon request. (and I do mean MASSIVE!)
    3. I would think we would be rather embarassed to allow another country's soldiers to receive the rather poorly packaged, poor quality US medals of the current manufacturer... So much for "Lowest Bidder" purchasing...
    4. Excellent! Now his own website as in "Service Available", or something more coy? Keep us posted please as that story develops! Thanks!
    5. Now, I think it's really neat to have this.... but somebody(ies) else has all his other stuff
    6. Here's why Dave... ORB to a General of the NKVD.... "Official replacement for S/B Type 1" per Igor
    7. I know we spend a great deal of effort trying to keep researchers "under cover"... will this book and that back cover photo blow opportunities down the road???
    8. This crown looks more Saxon, than Reuss to my eyes? Claudio... check it against your SHRK/AORK pieces?
    9. I'm in the same boat... I used to spend small fortunes trying to re-unite groups, bars, even photo albums that had been torn apart (would you believe I had to pay an immense bribe to a German seller who had been tearing photos out of an Imperial Aviation album that included original photos featured in a number of books!! Eventually, with much expense and heartache, I was able to salvage most of the album, including the pages he had ripped and cut photos from, destroying the pilot's hand-written notes in the process.... The truly sad part was later on (and this IS what usually happens) not one other person cared!

      One more GOLD!

Greetings all... the hinge block and pin are consistent with a number of Juncker Badges (Imperial UBoot, 1914 EK1, etc.) manufactured in the 1935-45 era. I think Che & Jacques badges are both Juncker, slightly different time periods with Jacques SC being the later-made piece.
    11. Here's an eBay one now... Look Familiar?? http://cgi.ebay.de/Eisernes-Kreuz-2-Klasse...1QQcmdZViewItem
    12. Outstanding! Just a superb group of many, many interesting pieces!! Good Work!!
    13. Have not seen this one before! However, the reverse bears the motto of The Saxon Kingdom
    14. You've been sent a PM regarding your language and regarding your rhetoric. I now suggest publicly you take a step away from the table.
    15. Good question and an oddity that perpetuated itself well forward with Soviet Railway emblems incorporating the anchor as well.....
