I have subsequently become the current owner of this Soldbuch. A photo of Landgraf has still been elusive but there was an image that I found of the U-597 bridge crew which I believe includes Landgraf. Below is a link to my website with Landgrafs career which includes the balance of his rank and career from Deutsche Dienstelles response to my inquiry. http://aufhimmelzuhause.com/id439.htm Enjoy Jeremy

Nice Wehrpas and interesting history on the flyer. These pilots who served prewar are always interesting from the standpoint that these flyers/crews constituted the backbone of the LW and their subsequent attrition gradually ground down the depth with respect to experience the LW had going into the war.

Luftwaffe Rank and unit?
spanferkel replied to Mattyboy's topic in Germany: Third Reich: Research, Documentation & Photographs
Turtle is correct about his LW rank. Without knowing his units or rank title hard to tell what specific admin branch he was attached to. Jeremy -

Luftwaffe LW Flak book
spanferkel replied to Jan Arne S's topic in Germany: Third Reich: Research, Documentation & Photographs
Jan Thanks for additional scans. Certainly an interesting book and hopefully someone else will be able to show additional items which are filled in/complete. Appears as though these were perhaps unoffically instituted by specific units. Regards jeremy -
