Bundesrepublik knight's cross iron cross 1957
Graf replied to Roeland's topic in Germany: Post 1945: Bundesrepublik & DDR
Any information whether the Firm Juncker, Berlin ever made 1957 RK. At one stage I had two 1957 RK 1957 Model, however the quality was not at the best. Both of them were marked L/12 800 I sold them because i suspected that they were side line of the fake made 1939 Models .Those RKs appeared on the market very briefly 10 years ago -
Hi JohanH, Nice minis. Yes to get attributed bars and chains is better, especially if they are part of a Grouping. I simply try to get minis for the full size Orders I already have It looks nice I send you mere info regarding the Mini of the Commander of the Order of the Vaza on the other topic site. It is not marked and it is double sided . very detailed work. Silver Regards Graf

Merci Djedj, I had the information that the medals with the Crowns are considered as "Cent Gardes" That can explain their scarce nature if their were given to the 100 National Guards only Similarly like the "Cent Gardes' model of the Order of legion of Honour Graf

Graf replied to bigjarofwasps's topic in Great Britain: Orders, Gallantry, Campaign Medals
Hi Nick, Do not worry. When the time comes they will create Criteria. I hope they will not get too exited and create sub classes for each Variant that will come under the sun -

Sweden Vaasa-orden Mini of Commander Class
Graf replied to Graf's topic in Northern European & Baltic States
Hi JohanH, Here is a picture of the miniature together with two other miniatures in Gold I have in my collection The Commander miniature is not marked, however it is silver and it is double sided with very detailed design. I am amazed how they can make such small detailed minis Regards Graf -
Hi Paul, I agree, however i would not buy such medals from a person who I never had deal in the past and i know that they are with good knowledge and most importantly honest. Those medals are not mine main interest, however I am fascinated by the models with crowns. I was offered privately made ones without crown, however i declined I would be trilled to get one China campaign medal with crown, however i am still reluctant till i get more evidence that they exist with crown..That is why started this topic Cheers

I agree with 992F Lack of clear marks and in my opinion lack of good quality, suggests bronze gild. Here is another example of good quality silver gild with well placed mark for silver -'boar head"
