Italy chose some "new" allies in 1915 so wear of Italian decorations may have been discontinued after that date until...? I have an attributed bar to an officer who recieved the Order of the Italian Crown before the war. He was KIA in November 1914 with no record of even an EKII. That said, lovely bar Heiko.
Not a case of more so or less so, Steve. It is an interesting varient that will always have believers and disbelievers and that is why it will require an explanation. It just doesn't fall into the category of "classic example."
Heiko, don't complain about living far away from every German dealer. Some people always have it worse, me for instance! That is a lovely bar, Christian, and the small campaign clasps have me drooling. I love those little things...even more when they're real.
