    1. Hi to be honest I hate to see someone destroying part of history to make a profit. I spend so many years and money to reunite items, medals and papers from same person to see that. I can't understand. We can do anything to avoid this. as it is my collection theme, I will try to reunite the album. Christophe

    6. Hi everybody I have this iron cross since a while and I have never seen if there is an hallmark. I can see one Z on the ring. Can you tell me which jeweler has made it. I have found some in the Jacob's book, but no one has made the iron cross. thanks for your help Christophe

    8. He has probably received ÖM3K . I have not seen the cross as a commander cross on the photo. Three men received the CKmBr the last one is the Czar of Bulgaria

    11. Hi Fritz von Selle received the Card Eduard War Cross on 19 July 1916. Von Selle received the Pour le Mérite Order on 6 January 1918, after that the Duke Carl Eduard gave Oberst von Selle the Brillants to the cross in 1918. Years ago Andreas Thies sold the Carl Eduard War Cross with Brillants and its original box in one of his auction. Christophe

    15. Very nice combo with Turkish ribbons. For me the man who received this bar finished the war as an NCO. He probably became an officer after 1935. I like the Liakat ribbon. I have never had a ribbon bar with ribbon. I only had one ribbon bar with Imtiaz ribbon Christophe

Before biding, read the article of Andreas (medalnet) here about the design of the Eagle http://www.medalnet.net/Eagle_Design.htm Only after that and after reading information about the good or bad Red Eagle Order, you can bid or not. Alfred Jahn from IR 134 He received the following medals knight cross of St Henry of Saxe on 27 November 1916 knight cross 2nd class with X of Albert of Saxe on 19 october 1915 iron cross 2nd class on 10 July 1915 Cross of Honor 3rd class with X of Reuß on 4 October 1915 Cross 3rd class with X of Princely Hohenzollern on 2 May 1918 Christophe

It is strange to see on the first one, that the two first ribbons are smaller than the others. it's not too common to see About the second one, a very nice Thuringian ribbon bar. I like to see Ernestine ribbon and Saxe Weimar ribbon. This bar is probably an NCO ribbon bar. Congrats Christophe Here is a new one I have not shown yet Christophe
    20. Hi Nice bar. The first one is not necessary for the EK2, it might be the Crown Order 4th class with swords or the Red Eagle Order 4th class with swords. Of course it can be possible if only it is an officer bar. Christophe
    21. Hi Very nice ribbon bars. On the first one the Third ribbon is for which medal ? as it is paler than the others I can't recognise it. The first one is for an enlisted man or junior NCO during the war (there is only the saxon Friedrich August medal, probably in bronze). The second ribbon bar is for a junior officer from Bade.
