Hello, The Cross was created in the year 1930, destined to the Great War veterans. The ribbon was bleu horizon with the stripes in madder red. the Vichy regime reinstallated the cross but with a ribbon bleu horizon with black stripes . it was destinated to the veterans of 1939 1940. In 1944 this Cross was forbidden. the year 1948 was reinstallaed and today is still awarded.
