    12. Very nice photo Chris... I'm sitting on the porch drinking a triple scotch on a beautiful 80° sunny day wondering why there isn't much activity on the forum. Summer is nearing and I suppose some people have better things than to participate. I'm reading Sherlock Holmes and maintaining watch over new post. I've seen many nice photos on eBay lately but have lost every one of them...
    13. Do you fellow this this would been an officer's cap of Jäger zu Pferde Nr 3 due to the location of the cap maker?
    14. This is a great thread. Certainly makes one miss Rick L and his insightful comments.
    15. That is an extremely nice photo and would love to have a similar photo. Wouldn't I be nice to know how he faired throughout the war

    18. That's a beautiful grand cross neck badge. I've seen the Red Eagle worn a few times around the neck it without the red eagle breast star and wondered. Now I know the reason if they have the Black Eagle Order. it seems to me there would be plenty of Swords of Ring RAO. I need to look at more photos of generals... thanks Linsingen
    19. I did not know this? So, you are saying a man honored with the Black Eagle Order would receive the neck bage of the Red Eagle Order Grand Cross without Breast star? Was is with sword in war time?
