Here is another Imperial cutout in Silver that I recently purchased. Question.. When reviewing this thread I've noticed a difference in the number of "beads" on the top of the badges. Am I correct in assuming there were varients? It would make sense give there were a multitude of manufacturers correct? Regards, Joel

Gentlemen, Just completed another Militaria acquisition and this badge was a must have for me. Not only for the Iron Cross Design, but for the incredible detail and last but not least, the Maker Mark on the back! Above all it looks great in my medal case. Regards, Joel

My true passion is colllecting Imperial EK2's. The more patina and character the cross exhibits, the more apt I am to add it to my collection. I have conducted a few trades and purchases over the last couple of years and have obtained a few TR EK2's. In my humble opinion though, If I had to pick one over the other, the Imperial Crosses are more beautiful and provide that element of intrigue and mystery for me. Regards, Joel

Eurob, Nothing to worry about on that one my friend. Correct me if I'm wrong here I personally and in my limited exposure to TR EK's, think that a Berg & Nolte Ludenscheid made cross is a rarer one to find. At least in my travels.. Regards, Joel

Gents, Happy to report that a good friend of mine has surprised me with an interesting gift. The front of the glass appears to exhibit a hand painted Imperial battle flag and pole. Also, the rim of the glass looks as though it has a hand applied remnants of gold paint and the back of the glass has an etched, "1/4L." Has anyone seen one like this before? It displays well with a pair of my long ribboned EK2's! I look forward to hearing all in the know about this piece. Kind Regards, Joel
