James, Welcome to the Forum. I as well must confess that I have just a few Japanese Militaria items none of which are related to the medical units. I've got the basics covered right now. Daniel, I thank you for the information you have provided me. I probably know the answer already if they were interested in selling it or not. None the less, I'll at least ask and see if it would be possible. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I believe, if my memory serves me well that this one was made in 1916. Daniel, A fantastic piece of History in your posession. There is a small VFW near where I live that has an a old Maxim on the front lawn collecting rust.
