    1. Seamen who are striking Boatswain Mates learn to use it as well. We had a couple during my time on my ship.
    2. Please share some of your photos here with us! I know that I am very interested in seeing your event pics, as well as your original items. regards Paul
    3. Those are some wonderful photos. This is the first time I have heard of a ORS being awarded for Lifesaving during peacetime. Very significant, if you ask me. Thank you for sharing these photos.
    4. Mervyn, that is a very rare grouping. I have not seen too many non Russian groupings with Soviet awards. Very nice.
    5. Here is to a happy and very long retirement. I remember when WW2 vets were in their early 50s...
    6. Rest in Peace... There are not that many of these heroes around anymore. Are there any big names still with us?
    7. These remind me of the TRIDENT examples. Still, high quality. It is a good filler.
    8. LOL! The slide was not taken apart by me. It was the way it came. Either it was not completed or the stitching did not hold out. Regardless, it displays well and one would not know it was not attached if it were not held open for the photo. The other is complete and together.
    9. I just found these beauties for a nice price. This first one is for a Captain. They seem to have the same patterns as the British(at least they seem to).
    10. I love the bullion embroidery of the KS. I have been looking for a LS strap for a long time. That show was like a gold mine!
    11. Here is a comparison of the two uniforms. The earlier one is the red/green piping and the later version is the carmine. Both are very attractive combinations.
    12. A nice Defense of Moscow medal bar, which came with the tunic. The CS medal is unnumbered.
    13. This is my second Soviet Medical Colonel's grouping. This is an earlier grouping, which have the period branch colors of green and red, versus the later Carmine. This set has the blue riding trousers with the red piping. Also included are the hat and medal bar, which illustrates service defending Moscow. I hope that you like this set as much as I do.
    14. I really love the tan insignia a lot! Very high quality embroidry
    15. Awesome. So all I need is to find a chest rank with a medical emblem for a field medic set up for the war period.
    16. Were these worn in 1995? These are the same as the dress collar insingia, are they not?
    17. Still a great set of medals. Did you get them together?
