    1. Awesome job on these latest images. How long do they take you to do? I have one for you, if you want! General Pershing's stars were Gold, while he was the Supreme Commander.
    2. Thank you Egorka. This item was posted on another forum and met with some doubts too. My issue is the number looks as it it has been tampered with. Of course, it is possible that it is 100% legit, but in all of my years of collecting Soviet orders, I've never seen a number engraved in that manner. The two "1"s in front of the "473" and the last "1" look as if they were either part of a different number that was buffed off or were scratched in later.
    3. I do like the details and the shiny flat surfaces. It has the characteristics of a Klein. Based upon Chris' assessment and manufacturing attributes I know from the Heer version, I believe it is a good sample.
    4. That part is called the shank. Elevators and boy private parts have shafts. It seems to be attempting to replicate a Klein made spange. Klein used the thin/long attaching pins. What I do not like is the fact the pins are sharpened to a point. I don't remember this being an accepted feature.
    5. These are most attractive ribbon bars. Do you know what they are?
    6. Very interesting topic. Has this field become more popular in the collecting community over the past seven years?
    7. You would probably find more of it here in the US than over there. Try Ebay, but with caution.
    8. I messed up and posted the wrong last two images... Thank you for bringing this to my attention!!!! They are to another group I have. Paul
    9. Well, both groups are outstanding! I love the fact the Kursk veteran is a tanker. He was lucky to have survived.
    10. I have two Kursk groups, but they are German. These Soviet vets of the campaign are amazing. Which medal exactly was for Kursk out of the group above? I dont see a Bravery Medal. Paul
    11. I want to share with you the most complete medal and order group that I've ever had. Thanks Mr Becker for the opportunity to add this interesting set to my collection. I will let the images do the talking.
    12. Nice lower number. Do you have the research on it yet?
    13. Wow!! This is rare! I am glad that you were the winner. Groups dont really come like this anymore! Congrats. What can you tell us about his service?
    14. I dont believe that this is a bullet hole... I am not a forensic expert, but I've never seen a perfectly round hole like this. Reminds me of a drill press made hole.
