    1. I remember them passing this information to us last week... I just wish that we as a service would have a little more imagination when it comes to award designs. I am just upset that: Personnel who have earned the Combat Action Badges and ribbons from other services will have to convert to the CG ribbon if they come in. I would be pissed if I earned in CAR in the Marines or the CAB in the Army and had to convert it when joining the Coast Guard. I would also be upset if my Combat Action did not count for promotion if performed in another branch of service. I see a lot of heat coming from these new regs. BTW, anyone else notice that Rear Admiral's name at the bottom of the message(releasing authority).
    2. How difficult are these to find? What where they awarded for? Heroism?
    3. I can only echo everyone else! Those are some great ribbon bars! I am most impressed with the custom made versions(top two).
    4. If I did not know any better, I would think that it was intentional?
    5. Fourteen times?!?!?! I can see why he was called "Mad"!
    6. Thank you Johann! Those are completely amazing! Do you know how many of these were awarded? Paul
    7. Thanks Mav. So most likely, he was attached to the General staff as a specialist adviser?
    8. That is a great set of TSD Admin boards for the KM!! Great score Ricky! Speaking of obscure KM insignia! Now how many of these do you think were in the KM? I am sure that there was not much call for Veterinarians in the Kriegsmarine!
    9. Hi John, Larry is the specialist when it come to these guys. http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/sho...;postcount=3679 I THINK that these men provided security to the Reichs rail system.
    10. As far as I know, these codes were placed on all weapons and field gear(belts and ect included). It is hard to say what it went to exactly, as I am not a field gear specialist but my guess is that it is a part of a medical pouch or perhaps a rucksack. I would love to hear more input!
    11. I love it, Rich! I like seeing the nice EM bullion eagles on tunics! Bear in mind that I am not an adler specialist, but I like what I see!
    12. That is a very attractive medal!! Please tell us some things about it!! What was it awarded for? Is this a common medal?
    13. SEVEN wound stripes!! I wonder who had the most? Does anyone know of any troops who had ten or more?
    14. I imagine that this is one of the rarer pins!! It is in beautiful condition!! Congrats!
    15. I would love to see them as well!! For some reason, the Ebay item does not show up anymore. Did you keep any photos? Paul
    16. The Saxon Lifesaving medal had a white ribbon? I have never seen one of those before! Anyone have one?
    17. What is that medal in the upper left corner that looks like a Soviet Hero Order? Paul
