    1. You guys have some great uniform/portraits. The DLV is the first I have seen! Here is a Major-Ing(Engineer Official), Horst Hadrich
    2. Looks like a very attractive set!! Maybe the badge specialists can give you more specifics. I went ahead and moved this topic to the Luftwaffe Awards and Decorations area, where it will get more exposure to folks who will most appreciate this set!
    3. Are there any modern batteries that could make it work? I would love to find one someday!!
    4. Another beautiful example. I would love to find one someday. Congrats!
    5. I see them as comparable to Trade badges used in WW2.
    6. Great photos!! Lets keep them coming!! What rank did your father reach, Naxos?
    7. I wish you the best of luck! Stay safe.
    8. Good luck with the helmet. I think that all of those Darth Vader helmets were liberated by the first wave in '03. What are the odds of a third trip? Paul
    9. Wow Jon! You have amassed quite the Flak collection. Thank you for sharing it all with us! The flak piped cap is a rarity. kind regards Paul
    10. I agree with John!! Very nice lot of insignia there! Congratulations! I really like the eagle!
    11. Thank you for posting this photo! I remember you telling me that his uniform was on exhibit in some museum. I would love to see a fresh color photograph of it!!
    12. It almost seems more likely for it to be a Widow's Cross. It is my impression that most 1871 Beamte Personnel were older men at the time of the 1870 war and it would be unlikely that they would still be in service to be eligible for the Centenial medal. For me, this bar would make more sense to be for a post 1871 vet who lost his son in WW1... What are your thoughts, Rick? Please do place a photo of the back of the bar. regards Paul
    13. Great collection you have there! Did you bring these things back from a deployment?
