    1. There are some interesting medals in there. Have you been able to track down any of the two original owners?
    2. I did not know anything about this badge. Thanks Gary, for providing some background information.
    3. I love the KM Badges. I feel that they are the most "modern", with the two toned finishes and 3D effect. My favorite is the Destroyer Badge.
    4. Thanks Larry. That is what I like about them. This stuff is much rarer than SS, but people have no interest or knowedge about them. Makes more for us! paul
    5. Here is a very worn and solid WW2 Ribbon bar for a Coastie who saw times in all theaters of the war.
    6. I just picked these up off of Ebay. Suprisingly, the price was VERY affordable. While the inisgnia themselves are not that rare, they are a really nice set that should be in any LW collection. I hope that you like them. They are for an Oberfeldwebel equiv Official.
    7. Another view. I love these as they are usually cost effective due to the lack of interest and there are countless items to keep collecting fun
    8. Although not a matching pair, per se, they are still a welcome addition to the collection. Red had several specialty designations. This NCO is of the Middle Career Grade spectrum. The photos come from the Ebay auction, where I won them.
    9. I have just received a pair of both of the officer and the NCO badges. Here is one of the gold examples for officers.
    10. I have just received a pair of both of the officer and the NCO badges.
    11. Thanks guys. It comes as a pleasant suprise because it will match perfectly with the well used and non altered Republican Guard uniform that came in last week! Like this helmet, it is beat to hell...
    12. Another piece of Luftwaffe insignia which just arrived this week. noticed the tress at the base of the shoulder strap, with the blue-grey edges.
    13. Here is a very strange SHD NCO level tab. The typical SHD NCO collar tabs I have seen have the green badge cloth, white embroidered letters, and the broken white/green outer piping. As you can see, these tabs are a little different. The lettering is embroidered in a deep golden brown thread and the outer piping is in a broken brown and green twist cord. Now, when I originally bought the tab, I thought that the tab was just a victim of dirt/dust. Upon in hand inspection, this is obviously not the case. It was definitely made in this way. Was this some short lived regulation protocol or is it to a specific ranking group, which has been forgotten to time(administration, reserve, or etc)? What are your thoughts?
    14. I am not a dagger specialist, but I do like that I see. Do you have a tunic to display it on?
    15. I hope that there is someone who can chime in here. I am a student of the LW, but I have some suspicions about this set... I want to hear the thoughts of our more experienced members here.
    16. Those paratrooper badges are stunning. Nice score on the Moscow Medal
    17. Very comprehensive collection of awards! I am especially pleased to see the cased EK2 Spange! Not too many of those around. I am just now seeing this thread. This forum moves a little slower than others, especaily with TR stuff. But rest assured... there is interest here. PLEASE keep posting! Do you have any items from the 236th IR, which spent a great deal of time in Norway? I have a relative who was an officer in that unit and would appreciate seeing anything related to it. Regards Paul
    18. Some of those reproductions are very convincing... Thank you for posting this information.
