    1. I have not seen another since I picked this one up from a seller in Germany(off of Ebay) about five years ago. Any insight would be appreciated. Regards Paul
    2. And here is the patch in question.... The tunic is identical to the one above!
    3. Good Morning, I have a tunic that bears an arm patch I have not seen before... Here is the typical tunic with patch.
    4. Now that is what I call focus!! 190 books???!!! What attracted you to this area of collecting? Please post more!!!
    5. That bar is in awesome shape!!! Please post an "after" photo when your medals come in! Paul
    6. I noticed that as well. That is a thought(advancement just before captivity or notification of advancement during captivity? ). or something more sinister... like a post war embelishment. (I hope not)
    7. That is a very interesting tunic! It seems to have a lot of history into it. What does it appear the writing is done in... paint? You stated that it was not readily visable with they eye? Thanks for posting it! Paul
    8. That has to be the finest Boxed Wound badge I have ever seen!!! WOW!
    9. Stephan, Thank you for posting your bar! Very attractive combination!
    10. Hi again. I am sorry about you WB in Gold. Regardless, you have an awesome collection of Wound Badges. I especially like the WW1 Naval WB! I know that you have been receiving a lot of bad news lately... but it is better that these items are caught early on in collecting than after decades!!! Most of us have all been burnt more than once! Don't be discouraged! Regards Paul
    11. I love your displays! Especially the Japanese one! The Nambu pistol is an eye catcher. It is a good thing that you are not going to fire the Japanese pistol anymore. The high price of the ammo is the least of my concerns. These pistols were said to have injured as many of it's operators as they did targets. Seriously, these weapons are notorious for misfiring and worse. Be careful with these! Regards Paul
    12. This is my first time seeing so many of these items in a collection!!! You do have many rare items! I looking forward to seeing more in the future! Paul
    13. Dan, That is a very nice tribute! Thank you for sharing this very historical grouping! Paul
    14. Thank you again! I will look forward to seeing the other tunics! REgards Paul
    15. Thanks!!! Can you please do the same with your other LW tunics as well!!
    16. Hi! Thank you for posting the detailed photos of this wonderful tunic! Despite the tragic mouse attack, it is still a very attractive and collectable piece! The Secondary waffenfarbe is a nice one as well. In Accordance with what is written in vol 2 of "Uniforms and Traditions of the Luftwaffe" by John Angolia, page 13 The uniform could have belonged to an Oberfeldwebel in the: 1. Photo Service 2. Motor Transpost Service 3. Ordnance Servcie 4. Weapons and Ammunition Service 5. Technical Aircraft Service 6. Cartographic Service or 7. Lithographic Service. I have only seen one other untouched admin tunic and it bore the same waffenfarbe yet it was ranked for a Hauptman(or some other junior officer ranking). Very nice tunic! Do you have any history on it? The eagle is hand applied, but based upon my experience, this particular job could have been done during the war. Regardless, I love that tunic.
    17. I would leave it as is... It is "possible" for him to have been promoted. As it is easier to afix a pip than replace a tab, I could see the officer being able to apply the pip immediately while never having the opportunity to replace the tabs. Regardless, I would not mess with it. Regarding the Admin tunic... is there damage to the back of the collar? It seems like an awesome tunic. Despite the lack of desirablity(but not by me! :-)) in these Admin tunics, they are very rarely encountered. Is there a chance for close ups of this tunic as well? Thank you again! Regards Paul
    18. Thanks Mike and Larry!!!! I am working on a couple of sets as we speak!!! I am looking to trade some badges for them! I hope that he is agreeable to the trade as these tabs blow my mind!! Paul
    19. I cannot believe that I am only now seeing this set! WOW!!! Nice! Can I please see some close ups of the LS medal case? Regards Paul
    20. I agree with Tony and Chris on this matter. I feel that placing an original liner would not be a big deal(as long as this information was passed upon resale), yet I would not alter the shell. Just my two cents. Chris, Great to see you here! I look forward to seeing bits of your awesome collection! Paul
    21. Thank you all for your compliments!!! These tabs are as much a passion for me as ribbon bars are to a certain group here!!! It is a very slippery slope!! Thankfully I am closer to the bottom than the top, at this point! There are quite a few remaining to be found!! I must have them all!!!!
