    1. I picked up a leather carrying bucket last weekend at a junk store, described as a 'shot bucket'. It has the royal coat of arms on it, below which is an embossed 'N'. There are also some number embossed in the bottom. It is lined with canvas, and very well made. Does anyone have experience with these things?
    2. I also vote for Prussian mount. I've done this on a couple of groups over the years for display purposes, and you get good at it with practice.
    3. Very nice spange, Christophe, congratulations. But how do you know the first is not for the second class of the Albert Order?
    4. Holy cow, Don, now you're rolling out the heavy artillery. Are those ones marked for gold content as well?
    5. Hi Rudi, Once again, very nice Konvolut, especially with the Krieger-Ehrenzeichen.
    6. I agree with Mike on the reverse hardware, certainly looks like it was lifted from a breast star.
    7. That is a very interesting example. I'd like to hear what the EK gurus have to say in terms of who the maker might be.
    8. As I said on the 'other forum', I don't care for the swords on this PKO4, but I do think it is an older piece, possibly a Spangenstueck. However, it does not belong on this bar, rather I think someone swapped out an HOHmS. I have a similar PKO4mS which has swords identical to the award pieces, but it is unmarked.
