Rich, I take it that your alu example is double marked, 'A+DRGM'? If so, different dies.. at least for the wreath.

Many thanks for all the compliments, Guys.. I've finally put it in with the other birds and they seem to be getting on quite nicely, talking of the old days at the factory, who their owners were, what missions they went on, etc. I thinks Ize cracking up!!

If you didn't know better, and only had only had a shot of the front, it could be mistaken for an alu badge!! That is a fine piece, Eric. One of the best I've seen. Nice one!

I seem to remember that there was a blue/grey waffenfarbe attributed to weather station troops? I'll do some checking and get back to you. -
