landsknechte Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Au contraire... that is LIMBURGER--it STINKS right through the monitor screen! Watch these start being listed as being made by the firm "Limburger & Sohne, Berlin"...
Stogieman Posted December 12, 2005 Author Posted December 12, 2005 and a classic Bayern piece of gouvna
Guest Rick Research Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Same guy? Now adding the "smeared bodily fluids 'age' camouflage?" Greedy, greedy oinky woinky piggies just can NOT resist those over the top touches.
Stogieman Posted December 12, 2005 Author Posted December 12, 2005 ..... and, just to show you that he can be creative, here's a doctored tab-back bar. Now, raise your right hand if you think that bright, clean '39EK2 ribbon really has been on there as long as all the others! ;>)
Stogieman Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 I am happy to say that the incidence of this fellow's fake bars has declined, but here's a couple more that popped up last night. Very bad colonial bar
notned Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Yeah! i seen that one and burst out laughing...Impossible it screams at you!
Nick Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 ... and why is HE buying REAL bars??? What does he do with them??http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...item=6231874990 Here is your answer: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...item=6244644463
Deruelle Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 HiIf everybody who like us love the Imperial ribbon bars and who know that these ribbon bars are fake we are obliged to say to the buyer that theribbon bar is a fake. I know it's an "utopie" but I don't understand why the price grow up so high. That's life. Our duty is to educate the simple men who begins the collection. That's my opinion. Christophe
Gerd Becker Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Here is your answer: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...item=6244644463I can?t believe it
webr55 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Just for documenting this unbelievable CRIME here for all time:The original intact bar sold TO baff002 in December by another seller:
webr55 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 The same bar, HIDEOUSLY stripped of its devices, cannibalized and totally ruined by BAFF002, and sold as part of a lot:

Ed_Haynes Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 (edited) What else can I say, . . . . . . !!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited January 19, 2006 by Ed_Haynes
Deruelle Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 It's interrestign to note that in this ribbon bar there is no iron cross 2nd class. Sorry there is one but an idiot has put one device to sell higher than a "normal" ribbon bar. Its a shame. Even if the man who create ribbon bars has got the minimal knowledge, but helas triple helas, this is not the case. I hope that nobody bid on it.Christophe
landsknechte Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 What else can I say, . . . . . . !!!!!!!!!!!!!Couldn't have said it better myself. That's one of those bars that rather fun to read the implied "life story" out on.So, you're saying he was a...
Bob Hunter Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 C'mon Chris, ya gotta give the guy credit for imagination and creativity with that little damenschlieffe thingy!
Stogieman Posted January 20, 2006 Author Posted January 20, 2006 Yep. Chris' bar wins "Fugly of the week"!
Stogieman Posted January 20, 2006 Author Posted January 20, 2006 I like to delude myself into thinking we make a difference in fighting these clowns....... but today I get an eMail and photographs (unsolicited) from a guy in Germany offering to sell me about 300 WW2 era ribbon bar blanks. All 4-8 place, pre-drilled and ready to have "old stock" ribbon mounted up. Makes you wonder.
