Paul R Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 I've never seen one of those in person. Thank you very much for posting them. I would not really want to be moving those guns around, even with those ropes.
LarryT Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I've never seen one of those in person. Thank you very much for posting them. I would not really want to be moving those guns around, even with those ropes. I recently bought a large 2 Panzer Division photo lot which included these two photos of PAK being towed with ropes and straps similar to the ones Eric posted. The photos were taken in Greece in 1941.Cheers,Larry Ropes.
LarryT Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Thanks Paul. Here's some Flak wedding portraits.Cheers,Larry
Paul R Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 I really enjoyed looking at those images. Most seem really early into the war. I especially like the last image with the NCO wearing the officer's long sword. Very cool.
LarryT Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) Thanks very much Paul. Yes, the photos look to be very early war period. I love daggers/swords in wear photos. Maybe a thread should be started showing photos of them.Looks like three brothers in this photo or are closely related?. Panzer, Kreigsmarine and LW flak.Cheers,Larry Edited July 13, 2015 by LarryT
Paul R Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 That family photo is very nice. All three branches of the Wehrmacht are represented. Please do start a new thread on photos with swords.
