Paul R Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I am packing my stuff up for long term storage due to my transfer. I decided to take a few moments to take some photos of the Luftwaffe tunic collection. I hope that you like the photos.PaulAir Traffic Control Meister
Paul R Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Flak Uffz named to a member of the 49th Flak Reg, which was destroyed at Stalingrad. (Notice No East Front Ribbon ;- ) )
Paul R Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Justice Official. This tunic is in rough shape. There are MANY repairs and signs of wear. Possibly worn as a POW. The Eagle was removed. The current eagle and ribbon bar pictured was placed on for the photo(provisions were there for a three spaced ribbon bar).
Paul R Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Musikmeister uniform, with trousers. Unfortunately not named. I think that the owner could be narrowed down as there were not too many of these guys... and the tunic was tailored in Gent Belguim.
Paul R Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Sonderfuhrer G Level. I have never seen another LW Sonderfuhrer tunic anywhere!!!!
Deruelle Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Paul, Nice uniforms. It is possible for you to make a close up of the ribbon bar from your first post please. Seems to be an Austrian ribbon bar. Like I'm not a TR specialist, can you tell me which rank it is ? I think to Leutnant but not sure !I need to learn from TRRegardsChristophe
Paul R Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Finally, the crown jewell...HG M43 tunic set up for a field medic.

The Austrian bar fits perfectly. I even used the KVK2 ribbon for the buttonhole for the photo(it came originally with the bar). Most officials, like this Air Traffic Controlman, were older WW1 veterans. The rank title for this tunic is Meister(same grade as a Leutnant).
Harrier Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Very nice (and some very hard to find!) uniforms here. Thanks for posting!

Dave/dblmedThank you all for the kind replies. I love the Obscure side of the Luftwaffe. Fortunately, the more non streamline stuff is not popular and does not cost much!Dave,I am transferring to CA... a bit too warm, if you ask me. I am not a West Coast person, but I am excited about the cutter I am being assigned to.
