TacHel Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 You call that "just a beginning"? INCREDIBLE collection! Museum curators would be envious! Absolutely SUPERB!
VtwinVince Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 I concur, really incredible collection with lots of variation. Could you show close-ups of your Red Eagle 3rd Class with Swords? It is a personal favorite of mine.
pinpon590 Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 Hi ! Here are the close up of the read eagle order : And with the box : Thank you for your comments !
Doc Wilson Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) I just wanted to say thanks for sharing ... It is nice to see the orders in such clear photos... best wishes Vaughan Wilson I have to add .... whistfully I wish the American medals had half the class of what you shown. These orders are in my mind works of art.... unlike the stamped pieces of metal I have. Edited October 15, 2010 by Doc Wilson
Doc Wilson Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Hi ! It will be soon finished... Today some Schwarzburg, Reuss and Waldeck items : Sorry I have to ask : the bottom left hand ( while viewing) three medals are the Duchy of Brunswick?
pinpon590 Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 No, the three medals are from the principality of Schwarzburg (Sonderhausen and Rudolstadt together) : first is the Anna-Luise Verdienstzeichen, and the two along are 1914-1918 Verdienstmedaille.

ostprussenmann_new Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 That is a very nice collection. That probably took some time to gather. Is your RAO?X a 2nd or 3d class? And is your PLM a S&L? ostprussenmann
pinpon590 Posted May 21, 2011 Author Posted May 21, 2011 Thak you ! I collect since 10 years.... The RAOwX ist a 3rd class. The PLM is a S&L model : :D
Deruelle Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Salut JB, Very nice collection ! Congrats. Nnow you have to find Baden Karl Friedrich Verdienst Orden knight cross, the Bavarian Max Joseph Order and the Wurttemberg Military Merit knight cross. Christophe
rujab Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Hallo Pinpon 590 Wow which for a collection. It makes your collection for fun to look at. Congratulation and far much fun thereby Regards Rudi
ostprussenmann_new Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I also have a S&L PLM, but I would like to own a Godet (far chance in hell). I started trying to get get all of the 2nd Class Medals of Baden, Prussia, and Wuertemberg, but I realized that it would be extremely hard to do that, so now, I try to collect only Baden Stuff; mostly Reserve Infantry Regiment 109 and Baden Leib Grenadier 109 Stuff including, but not limited to Medal Groupings, Award Documents, Uniform pieces, Soldbuch's Militarpaß, etc. It will be nice to pass everything off to my son when he gets older. Another thing that I am starting is finding Medal and Ribbon Bars with the Baden Zähringer Medal/ribbon on it, but again that's hard since most of the good stuff comes out of Europe. I would also like to owen the KFVM2X for Wuertemberg like you have. Again, extremely nice collection and good for you. I really like the Crown Order w/ Swords. Those are real hard to find. ostprussenmann
pinpon590 Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 (edited) Hi gentlemen ! I still receive today a display case to show some items. They are a little bit expensive (+/- 20€ for one), but very nice to show one item in particular. It is not avalaible for purchase now, only on a french forum, but I hope it will be soon, if someone if is interested ! If someone is interested, I can do other pictures ! Edited November 3, 2011 by pinpon590
