Seems to be copying a marine flieger erinnerungsabzeichen (retired pilot badge) but without crown.Certainly a ratings badge but not sure of its purpose,anyone got any clues ?? It contains more then 130 flights during his pilot training at LFA Johannisthal and later his fighter training at Kampf-Einsitzer-Schule Langfuhr. Hi flow different land planes including Fok. Here the small group of Steuermann Hermann Degel from Kommando Z XII. He start his training back in Dec. 1914 at Schulkommando Johannistal. Later he belonged to the crew of Z XII.
