Kriegsmarine Admiral
Hello, Can anyone help me with this abbreviation from the Personalakte of Konteradmiral z.V. Paul Hönicke? I think it's "a. k. o." with the award date 14. III. 1905 written next to it. Is it the award date for the Rettungsmedaille am Bande that is written below it? Thanks! EDIT: I think I found my answer. "a. k. o." should be the Allerhöchste Kabinettsorder. Edited January 15 by Kriegsmarine Admiral

Thanks Jan The three icons are Prussian decorations. The first icon is the Roter-Adlerorden 2. Klasse mit Eichenlaube. The second is the Kronenorden 3. Klasse. The third is the Dienstauszeichnungskreuz für Offiziere. AB3a - Herzoglich Anhaltischer Orden Albrechts des Bären, Ritterzeichen 1. Claudio
Dear forumites, Do you have a list of the KuK Austrian Order& Medals‘ abbreviations taken from the glossary of the KuK Austrian Rangliste? A dear friend of mine and collector, would like to know what awards Major Aurel Schwabik was bestowed on. Some of them I can guess from the abbreviations but not quite from the pictograms (see below 👇 photo of the concerned kuk rangliste‘s page): EKO-R.3. (KD) = maybe Orden der Eisernen Krone, 3. Klasse mit der Kriegsdekoration MVK.3. (KD) = easy one… Militärverdienstorden 3. Klasse (Kriegsdekoration) and so on… I would really appreciate if somebody would post here a scan of such list here for future reference. Thanks in advance for your inputs and information. cheers C
