      I've always associated these red boxes(no matter what the colour of the inner base is) with KVKs not EKs,considering a KVK fits the box nicely but the EK doesn't says it all really. Dave

      The second one does look very much like a K&Q even down to the matt finish core, remember though we see K&Qs with 2 different cores!...the so called "short 3" and "long 3", does it not match either of those??
