    1. Hi Paul, Here's a couple of RLB portraits in my collection. Cheers, Larry
    2. Thanks. I had heard of KM sailors with tattoos but had never seen a photo of one. Same with Heer soldiers. I coloured the photo to show approximately what it may have looked like. Cheers, Larry
    3. Coastal Artillery with really good details. Cheers, Larry
    4. Thanks Edgar for the great information. The badge he wears has been described as a NSRL Watersport badge. I cannot find anything similar on the internet. Can you or someone else confirm this. Cheers, Larry
    5. Believe it or not I have had a few negative comments about colouring photos. I have been told they should be left B&W. I think colourising photos brings life to them, gives a sense of how things really looked in those days. Here is a Flak soldier and wife from my wedding portrait collection. Cheers, Larry
    6. Nicely done Alex. I also colour photos for a hobby. I have coloured photos for several books but mainly colour for the fun of it. Here is a photo from my private collection. A MG34 nest somewhere in Russia with one soldier holding a Mosin Nagant rifle in his left hand. Cheers, Larry
    7. Another Imperial U-boat badge in wear. Larry
    8. Here is a nice TeNo Einsatztruppe portrait. Note his field pack and helmet on the fence behind him. Larry
    9. Nice album! I have a couple of medic/sanitats albums in my collection. Do you know what unit he served with? I also have an album which contains several similar snow woman photos. Larry
    10. Fantastic photos everyone. Here is an Observer Badge photo from my collection. Larry
    11. Closer view of medals and badge.
    12. Oberfeldwebel wearing EK1, EK2 and U-boat badge. Larry
    13. Thanks Guys, I am very happy to have it in my collection. Larry
    14. Picked up this nice portrait on Ebay for $5.00 after the seller described it as a "Luftwaffe Leutnant with DRL badge." I was the only bidder. It pays to look closely at photos, You never know what details are lurking there. Larry
    15. My most interesting signature is a signed photo of Werner Grahn in full uniform as an Untersturmfuhrer in the SD. Grahn later served at Mathausen-Gusen Concentration Camp, was convicted of war crimes after the war, sentenced to death and executed on 28 May, 1947. Cheers, Larry
    16. RAD leader Konstantin Hierl. Behind his arm (with medals) is that Generalarbeitsfuhrer Fritz Schinnerer? Larry
    17. Two more photos from my wedding portrait collection. E boat badge. Larry
    18. Hi Martin, Sorry I didn't see your post before I replied to Norm. Nice photos and additional information regarding the types of uniforms worn by KM personnel. The Prinz Eugen (Destroyer Badge) photo I posted earlier shows him in KM blue with the DB worn on his jacket. This photo is from a small Prinz Eugen lot which in some photos shows him wearing the field grey uniform as well. I naturally thought that seeing he was wearing field grey he must have been transfered to land based duties. Going by yours and Norm's replies this may not be the case. Cheers, Larry
    19. Hi Norm, Thanks for the additional information. Looking at the photo I agree with you, he is probably in his early 40's. Cheers, Larry
