    1. I don't even remember being that young!
    2. Are you suggesting the venerable Mr. Research is open to a bribe? Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder what works... I wonder if chocolate chip cookies would work?
    3. It appears the primers have been removed, how about the explosive charges?
    4. Based on the observartion of a sharp eyed associate, Oberst Bonsack's medal bar seems to indicate that the EK2 has been sewn on backwards!
    5. I have some rare stuff but nothing that qualifies as super rare per Stogie's guidance and what's on display.
    6. Very, very nice guys and Claudion your RK1 is superb! I will add my modest pair here and note that SEDLATZEK is my favorite maker of fine EK1s and Wound Badges. Here is the RK2.
    7. Still, an impressive chest full of medals, Christophe. Congratulations on adding it to your collection!
    8. I love those ducks but they must be a maintenance nightmare by now!
    9. Thanks for the insight, John, they were a thrifty lot and the economy of the Weimar Republic era only sharpened that skill.
    10. This is the one that got me started on Imperial photos. I suspect the event was cleverly manipulated by the cunning Dos Rickies but in any event this is Oberst Alfred Bonsack whom many of you have already met. through the efforts of that evil pair... http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=1451
    11. KMST certainly had some unique fastening setups.
    12. Certainly the furled ribbons are not unique to any state but are thought of as "south German." As I discussed this Stogieman he indicated the height of the bar was a trait favored by Wurttemburg. You can see Rick's Bavarian bar is a tad taller than mine. As far as what's proper you are on the right track. Tall or short, furled or not, it's a fashion statement rather than interpretation of regulations.
