    1. Gentlemen, may i ask for your assistance with this picture? Who is the polish officer on this photo? Thanks in advance Gerd
    2. Thank you, Christian. I didn?t even notice, that its time already. Okay, its really quite easy with the Microsoft Explorer. The fact, that i only have the german version of the browser, makes it a little tricky though. 1. Click on "Tools" or "Extras", if you use the german version 2. Chose "Internetoptionen" ("?" in the english version, probably something similar?) Now the browser opens a window, where you can change several options. You see four rectangular buttons right over the "OK" button at the bottom of the window. Second from right is "Sprachen" or "Languages". Click on it and another windows opens. There you now see the activated languages. Delete german from the list, it won?t change anything in the appearance of the browser. Click on "OK" twice to close the windows. Now it should work hopefully. If you have any questions, let me know. regards, Gerd
    3. Christian, if you do only, what i have written above, nothing can go wrong. You should not change ALL the options of course Which browser do you use? I can show it to you step by step, what to do, if necessary... Gerd
    4. Christian, open the preferences of your browser and click on "Languages". Delete german from the list and now you should be able to see the websites on ebay. Its simple, but you have to know it of course regards, Gerd
    5. Scott, thats definately not Godet, but he probably means "G?de". This is the typical style of the G?de replicas.
    6. Great thread. I wonder, if he converted his soviet scewback awards, ie. Order of Lenin, Order of Red Banner, but more likely he got reissues as one of the important guys.
    7. Yeah, that was my first thought as well. Gerd
    8. Nice tunics, gentlemen. Charles, what might have been the order, which is missing on the medalbar on your tunic?
    9. What an amazing group, Solomon Thanks for sharing it with us. Great job keeping the group together, congrats
    10. Well, then good luck with your next search Great pictures, i love the one with the shell above the bird hole. Gerd
    11. Hi Christian, thats for the 25 years Victory badge. It had no seperate ribbon, so they used the VoG ribbon. Here are other examples: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=11999&st=20 regards, Gerd
    12. No worries, Sergey. It is her right to do that. Thanks for asking though. Gerd
    13. VERY nice group, Bryan I have seen it before and also have one or two researched awards to illiterate soldiers and i hardly doubt, that the whole USSR could read at that time.
    14. Great collection, pluribus. I am still stunned by the wonderful design of these badges. Do you have per chance any pictures of these badges in wear?
    15. Christophe, thanks for an extremly educating and entertaining thread. It has developed just great! Also thanks to all, who participated
    16. Leigh, fantastic "sideline" collection. Some of the boards i have never seen before. Re. the "Reichsj?germarschall" boards, if you consider, what a hunting-nerd G?ring was, you never know
    17. And while the medal itself is very common, the document to this medal is very rare. Alexei (NOTA BENE) has one for sale on his website for 65 Dollars. That may seem a lot of money for a document to a cheap medal, but it is justifiable if you consider the rarity. Gerd
    18. Thats a great piece, Doc. And i love the extra-documetation, Paul provides to the awards, he sells
    19. Eric, no its the right ribbon for the MMM. Could be mistaken for the DLM-Medal, i guess. Gerd
    20. Excellent, thank you very much, Rick. I thought the same, a 57 award could be interesting to research. I have another unumbered MMM researched, so i know its possible. This one is in the next batch for research, could be interesting obviously. Thanks again Gerd
