    6. Hi Matt Adolf Motsch received the Ehrenkreuz 3. Kl. mit Scwertern (The Princely Honour cross of Hohenzollern)on 8 August 1917. This is not the House Order of the Hohenzollern. The Chief of the FR 40 was the Prince Wilhelm of Hohenzollern Christophe
    7. Hello everybody I have this photo since several years. I try, without success, to find the name of this officer. Thanks for your help. He served in the Saxon Karabiner Regiment, whose Chief is Wilhelm Ernst of Saxe Weimar (explain the SF3bX). He received the Anhalt Friedrich cross 2nd class (that's the clue for me). Now about Saxon orders I have found for : - St Henry knight cross : 2739 names (Roth gave 2729 names) - Merit Order knight cross 1st class with X : 435 names (Roth gave 416 names). - Merit Order knight cross 2nd class with X : 1873 names (Roth gave 1833 names) Christophe
