    2. Thanks Matt, note that the crown and swords device is in silver. A real gem. Hi JB, nice display. I like a lot the purple ribbon of the Reuss peacetime medal. You need to buy some Ehrenkreuz peacetime this time Christophe
    3. hi, there is a thread inwhich abreviations are explain. But for my own part I prefer using abreviations used by the Reichswehr Rangliste than the pre-war abreviations. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/798-common-abreviations-for-imperial-medals-orders/ Christophe
    4. Thanks Dave. About Hünlich, it is our man, the birth's date is the same. I appreciate. Christophe
    5. Sascha, You are right about Reichswehr RL. This combo is unique. If ound the name of the owner of the bar. For me only one officer in the Reichswehr wore such combo. I have forgotten to see in those books. Years ago I have made research about majors orders in the RL 1925. Now each important orders has been classified and it is easy to make research. I have just need to think about my work Christophe

    8. Hi PK it is true that some Austrian makders used star as hallmarck. SOme were seen on Austrian cross of the Iron and on Military Merit Order 3rd class. It's the first time for me to see an Austrian maker for the Gallipoli star. Thanks for sharing it with us Christophe
    9. Hi everybody, I know it's an old thread but it's very interresting. Here Dave is talking only about infantery unit. But what for the others units. I have an example. Oberstleutnant Karl Brück received the centenary medal in 1897 when he was Oberleutnant in FAR Nr. 28. This unit belonged to 23. Feld Art Brigade (with FAR Nr. 12 and FAR Nr. 48). I have just seen this in the Saxon RL from 1901. It would be interresting to see now which unit received this medal. Christophe
    10. I forgot that photo. Note that the first officer at the left has got the War Merit Cross of Reuß. Christophe
    11. Thanks a lot, but I'm not a pure Reuß collector. I've bought all those items because there is connection with Kingdom of Saxe. But, with time I can say now that I like to collect orders from that State. Christophe
    12. Hi everybody, I'm looking for information about those officers. Both are from KS IR Nr. 102. Both received the same orders from WW1 : SH3, SV3bX, SA3bX, BMVO4bX and both EK. Both survived the war. Noack finished as Hauptmann a. D. But what's happened after WW1. Thanks for your help Christophe

    15. Hi, About the Saxon Frackspange, you are right. Several years ago I saw the medal, ribbon bar and Frackspange sold separatly on ebay. I missed the medal bar and the Frackspange. But by chance one of my friend has bought it and decided to sell it to me. I Have just to rebuilt it to be complete. But I have no idea where the medal bar is now. Just to say that both medal and ribbon bar have the same combo. I have saved the photo, here is from my database Christophe
