    3. Dave is right it is a copy of a 500 kuursh of Abdul Aziz, year 7 (1867). I have seen similar to these before sometimes in bronze-gilt. Paul

    8. I have just come across a Serbian Royal Household medal, Fourth type 1921-27, 'gold' medal, with crown, in case of issue. Looking at various sources I have not been able to find a similar piece, interestingly Car only illustrates a silver example. How rare are they, do they ever turn up in auctions in Belgrade? Any help gratefully received. Paul

Nice to see images of the real thing instead of the fakes which have bedevilled the market for longer than I care to remember as Russain Civil War pieces were always well collected long before the Russian boom started.
