    1. Do you think the bidders realise they're only getting photos? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/A-WWI-Imperial-Germa...1QQcmdZViewItem
    2. Gordon Price example of knowledge is power! Congratulations!! Rich
    3. Bob Both are stunning examples. I'm sure you bought something nice to replace the DKiS when you sold it!? Rich
    4. The back looks cast to me. I can see quite a few pock marks and there seems to be a lack of sharpness overall. Rich
    5. The labels are obviously in French. The bottom row on the label looks like a series of numbers starting with 7 and ending in 0??
    6. Chris Most likely the helmet was re-issued, which would explain the green paint over the original parade blue. Another method I heard of removing the decals is using a strong tape to pull them off. Don't know if that's a good idea though. If they haven't been lacquered over then I think the water approach would lift them or maybe use steam. Rich
    7. Wow, Eric!!!!! You certainly join the club with style!! I'm not a member BTW and the way prices are going I think I'm going to be always looking in to the club from the pavement. Rich
    8. I like them purely as a collectors set but not to replace what we currently have. rich
    9. Another shot. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtop...ost&p=39761
    10. Very nice John! A new piece?? You haven't shown too many new pieces lately!! Rich
    11. I do. I believe this is the correct case for the OM: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=4144&hl=kassel+OM Langemark also found a grouping at the 2006 Kassel show with a mint OM in the same case but unfortunately the pics are no longer in the thread. Rich
    12. Gordon Those are the things that really can make your day...! Very nice piece. rich
    13. I recall Otto Meybauer being mentioned before in relation to OM but nothing concrete was supplied to back it up.
    14. Karsten The case is no thicker than normal. While the badge gives the impressio of being thicker, it's not much thicker than say a J2 so it maybe fits more comfortably in the case. The interior or the case is lined with a blue border which is unusal for a luft case and more like a case for EK1. Rich
    15. Here's my example which come in the correct case for this maker. Rich
    16. Ah! Ikea screwer togetherer but a solo effort ! Just me and the cordless hand-drill! The wife just looked on...
    17. With the doors closed the sections are nicely framed...
    18. Building it was a nightmare but the end result was worth it, no?
    19. Very nice type 2, Stan! Any research carried out yet on the man in question? Rich
    20. First time I've seen this type. This could catch many out... http://cgi.ebay.de/WK-1-Eisernes-Kreuz-1-K...1QQcmdZViewItem
    21. Thanks guys. Vince as I have no J1 pilot/observer I have failed in your request. Therefore you'd better PM with your address...
