    1. Here are the two cold war types. M58 and the later Carmine version.
    2. These are surely far rarer than German WW2 Generals. Is the silver bullion real silver, as I would have expected it to have darkened by now. Beautiful tunics.
    3. This set is for a Housing Officer who was in Manchuria. While not awarded from combat valor, it is still a rare Japanese front award!
    4. Thank you Sir!! I appreciate it. I am just glad that I wound up with them, versus them being tossed.
    5. I personally think that any unofficial medal on a bar destroys it, or rather makes it less desirable to me.
    6. I wish I had his medals... :-( I am going to purchase some contemporary examples, including the clasps he was entitled to, and frame them up. I think that he was buried with his medals.
    7. For some reason, my computer will not allow me to download or open this file. Are there the enlisted and NCO rankings as well?
    8. Those pre 1900 medal bars are spectacular. My favorite is the 1866-1870 set!
    9. I will go through and post some of the better post cards within the next day or so. You know, that could be could be a razor case. I was just speculating on the purpose. It would be cool of the contents were still in there.
    10. I always wondered if this type of grouping existed, either way. I guess that this is proof that TR and Allied medal groupings are out there. Talk about amazing!!! Thank you for sharing it with us.!
    11. Is this your set? I would like to see closeups of the numbers. This is something I have never seen before!
    12. That is one of the most amazing HJ collections I have seen, ever. Many of those are what I would call, one of a kind. All of that in five years?!?!??! All I can say is, WOW.
    13. Is there anything on the reverse? I know nothing about these, but perhaps the other side will help others who may? Happy Holidays! :- )
    14. And finally, some of his bringbacks. He also has a ton of post cards, which outline some of the destruction and etc of the Western Front. Too many to post, unless there is some interest.
    15. Here is the label from his medical response gunbag. These were kept inside of the ambulance.
    16. A booklet that he was issued that reviews the history of the war and etc. Lots of cool information.
