    1. Those are some great looking boards you have there! Rare, if you ask me!
    2. That is a beautiful set! Have you posted the musician's tunic yet? If not, please start a thread! I would love to see it!
    3. Hi, I am glad to hear of your new purchase. I am sure that you will love it, as I did. All officers wore a standard officer's visor. They were not piped with a waffenfarbe.
    4. You guys have some amazing pieces in your collection. I had never seen a Siam piece before. How many were awarded? I am scared to think of what they go for!
    5. That is one beautiful bar. I can see why you would be upset in losing it. What did it go for?
    6. White tunics have never demanded a high price, when compared to the continental types. It could have belonged to an Admin Official who later became a member of the TSD in 1944. Uet, unless teh tunics is named, there is no way to know for sure. I would love to see how the tabs are afixed to the tunic. For me, this is how I would make my final decision. Period snaps with correct looking application would be a positive sign for me. Otherwise... who knows.
    7. That is some really great stuff, Grant. I really like the Stassi Oberst grouping. Do you have a suspicion that it is not a good set?
    8. Your talent for airbrushing is beyond reproach. I figured that you already knew that though. I look forward to seeing your new pics with your new camera!
    9. I would love to see some closeups of the shoulder boards.
    10. Thanks guys! Those are some wonderful examples. what does the red piping mean? Administration?
    11. I did not know that the tunic was phased out... although I would not be surprised. Do you have any details on this? I can check my books later tonight.
    12. I never said that double chevrons were an indicator of a repro. The fake tabs we saw happened to have the double chevron, but I noticed about them that I did not like was the way that the eagles were embroidered as well as a few other traits. I love these flak musician tabs.
    13. I am sorry to take so long to write. I have been having internet problems here. Anyway, It looks like a nice cap. I am thinking that the wreath has been postwar replaced. What are your thoughts?
    14. Hello, I am thinking that it is a unit ID of some sort. If it were a flak member of the LW FD, I beleive that the piping on the shoulder straps would be red.
    15. Those are beautiful!! How about some closeup shots of the shoulder boards?
    16. I do not have much experience with visors, but is it possible that the blue piping is faded? If not, this would make your cap the only one I have ever seen with this piping. Paul
    17. There are not any books that focus on the four pocket tunic, per se. I found the best way to find great examples is on the forums. If you would like, I can email you photos of mine and you can keep them for your database. Please PM me your email address.
