    1. Those boards are outstanding! Those reserve tabs will be a tall order. I dont even have one.
    2. Here they are! http://www.uniforminsignia.org/?option=com_insigniasearch&Itemid=53&result=1963
    3. Based upon the medals the Navy Chief is wearing, those are all of his medals, not top three.
    4. Wow Dave. I would have never sold that. Lol. Beautiful set.
    5. Here is another mixed military and labor set to Senior Sergeant Chiabrashvili, Iraklii Vasilevich; Order of Glory 3rd Class, Bravery Medal, Labor Merit, Victory over Germany, Order of the Great Patriotic War 2nd Class(1985). assigned the mission to recon the lead edge of the ’s defense. Penetrating to the lead edge while under heavy enemy rifle and MG fire, Chiabrashvili obtained the necessary information about the enemy and captured two prisoners which he delivered to the Command Post. He displayed bravery while accomplishing his mission..
    6. Gerd! That is amazing. I was talking with someone and they told me that there were a bunch of agricultural decrees initiated on this date, for long service. Who knows- ours could be from the same decrees!
    7. Here is a newly arrived set. What are your thoughts? I really like it. Someone theorized it could be a long service award to a teacher.
    8. Thanks. I did not know you had so many of these numbered badges! Those equate to a house on the Cape!
    9. Those are some great pieces. Is that a Hitler Youth ashtray?
    10. Great stuff Jock. I wonder why the BGS maintained the WW2 German style of uniforms while the other services did their best to reimage their military appearance? Do you know?
    11. Gerd, the award is unnumbered. The document has the award date as 1951. It makes sense for a long service award. BTW, I love those ribbon bars.
    12. I agree with the Army bars. Those are definitely the top rows, with at least one row below missing.
    13. Gerd, thank you for the explanation. I thought that only civilians received the Labor awards and that military members who wore them in uniform received them after their military service was over, in a civilian role. Here are a few additional groups. There are some that do not like the bar on the left, but the ribbon wear and etc are consistent. I think that it is good to go. Either way, there is no way to know for sure. Here is a set that includes a Veteran Laborer medal. It is 90% military, but the one Labor medal makes it valid in my eyes.
    14. Very nice! You have some outstanding groups in your collection. I am most impressed by the Occupation Medal with the Airlift device. There are not too many of those!
    15. Those are some great photos Gerd. How did military personnel receive these awards? Were they awarded while they were actually in the military, or are they wearing the uniforms after their service time was over, placing all awards they earned up to that point?
    16. They dont like to be cut. They are cry babies like that. Plus, they have separation anxiety. Very sad.
    17. Great stuff. Those beamter photos are amazing. Very rare in their own right.
    18. Nice one. Kursk is one battle I do not have represented in my collection. .
    19. That is an outstanding group. I wish that order was researchable. He must have been a big person in his community.
    20. I know that it has been a while, but these medal bars are amazing. I want to know more about what they are.
