    1. The way I remember things(and it was some time ago when I read this), these uniforms were worn by Army personnel assigned to Civil Defense units. They would wear the Army brocade belt. Regards Paul
    2. There has to be more out there... again, anything is welcome here... not just uniforms and insignia.
    3. The civil defense uniform is AWESOME!!!! I still dont have one(I do have a nice summer tunic).
    4. All around, great specimens!!!! I love the Marine medical officer! Also, can you post some closeups of the civil defense uniform(purple waffenfarbe)??
    5. I can believe it!!! How many hours a day did you work on it?
    6. So the cross is a repro? (please forgive my ignorance)
    7. Anytime my friend!!! While Wartime official tabs are out there, these early versions are beyond scarce. Congrats on your new addition! Paul
    8. Now this conversation pertains to the LW TSD. Anything pertinent is very welcome!! This includes: 1. Conversation on the topic of the TSD 2. Period photos of these men 3. Images of TSD related militaria 4. Any period documents 5. ANYTHING that pertains to the subject of this tread!!! Lets see whats out there!! Kind regards Paul
    9. I read on another forum a few years ago that the were flight priority tokens, to leave Stalingrad. REgards Paul
    10. I am not a collector of Tropical uniforms, but this one makes me consider starting. I did not know that you had the tropical M43! What type of dog do you have? Paul
    11. Thanks for the explanation, Francois and Larry!! I will be looking forward to more photos!!
    12. Hi Alexandre, That is a HUGE task that you are asking. At best, this could take many MANY hours of research. My question is, have you tried looking any of these officers up yourself(Google search and etc)? I am sure that several people who specialize in this field would not mind helping with one or two officers, but to bombard someone with a list of 49 names to research is not right... unless you are willing to pay him an hourly rate. Kind regards Paul
    13. Totally amazing!!! That must have taken months to complete!!!
    14. The value of research... adds a lot of life and personality to an order. To me, the results are worth more than the order itself!! Thank you for sharing, Bill!
    15. Were these "Air Mission" Goblets official awards? How many missions were on each of these goblets?
    16. Great presentations!! I like the tropical manniquin the most!
    17. I have never seen anything like it. The wearer looks very young. I am guessing that he could be a member of a military school of some sort... Kinda like the Citadel?
    18. Thank you for sharing the photos. There is one that is not coming in though(boat).
