      Those are some great badges!! I think that the number 4 is a Silver badge. IMHO, the area of gold is due to wear on the pin. All the WBiG I have seen, the pin and catch were both gold metal.

      Yes, I will start a thread on these as well. Those are the only such boards I have seen! Can you please make some bigger scans? BTW, how does the waffenfarbe compare to that of the tabs? Are they the same? Paul

      I have never seen these in period photos for an Admin official. However, I have seen piped shoulderboards(unauthorized) used by Sonderfuhrer. I suppose those could go either way, but I think that they are for a sonderfuhrer, as they were the only ones to use the golden sliders.
