    1. How difficult are India Service Medal and 1939-1945 Medal mounted pairs to find?
    2. Nice one!!! I love that ORB. What is the number on the back? I cant really see it.
    3. I do not see much wear on the Red Cross ribbon... it does look a little discolored, but due to time?
    4. Wow. That one is so beautiful it brings a tear to my eye. The only thing missing is a NonCom EK2!
    5. Paul, I am sorry to have missed your message. They are indeed full sized medals. I really think that the Navy and the Marine Corps expeditionary Service Medals are really pretty cool. Is it true that they did away with the Marine Corps version?
    6. Great photo! I love the details in the uniforms, as well as the fact they are wearing P08s.
    7. I would not personnally mess with it. I think that the coating would flake off, making things uglier.
    8. That is an amazing book Chris. So he won the EK2, U-boat badge, and the U-Boat clasp?
    9. I cannot see anything wrong with it. I am not a badge specialist, but I like the zink oxidation and etc. I think that it is about a 500-600 dollar badge. What say others?
    10. If you find any other service tunics, like above, I may be interested.... esp if it is related to medical.
    11. Here is one of my favorite documents in my collection so far. It is for a meteorlogical specialist. It is stamped for the first quarter of 1945. A really cool piece in my opinion. I would love to see yours! Paul
    12. What a stellar grouping to a man who has seen it all!
    13. Were non military members allowed to participate? Or... is it possible to just receive marching medals during a period of conscription?
    14. What is that last medal awarded for? It looks civil to me.
    15. Thanks Paul. I appreciate you looking. I was looking at ebay for the unnamed India medals and they seem to be really affordable. I would like to find a nicely mounted pair of these medals for the set someday. I will try to take a better photo of the hat badge. Here is a thread where the uniform was discussed. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/60840-major-with-the-39th-infantry-divisionindia-electrical-engineering-corps/
    16. Hi Paul, Thank you so much for looking for me. What is a wartime attached volunteer? Are they different than regular officers?
    17. LOL! Thanks Mervyn. You are welcome by for dinner anytime! hahaha. Paul, Where do I find the date on this uniform? I dont recall seeing a date stamp. I think that it is definitely a wartime piece, based upon the ribbons. What do you think? Paul
