    1. Robin, Wow.... How many tunics do you still have you in your collection?
    2. It is a beautiful award. I am glad to see old awards like this resurrected.
    3. That last tunic is really something. A nice later war tunic. I love the eagle application.
    4. When it comes to getting the job done, everyone did what was needed to be done, regardless of rank or grade.
    5. Thanks! Do you think that the reason for these awards not being researchable is that the recpients are still alive?
    6. I did not know that actual numbered awards were presented to units/establishments. I thought that it was more of a special banner that was given. What did the units/establishments do with the actual award that they received? Frame them and mount them at the headquarters?
    7. Hahahahaha... I have tons of experience there. An angry spouse could be a real explanation. LOL
    8. On both statements- tell me about it. Many of the things I have now, I would never be able to afford on today's market, despite having a much larger income. Crazy how that works. That ORB cost less than 200 dollars. I am scared to think what it is for today. I like the worn orders as well. They show a real sense of being there.
    9. Hi Gregg!! Welcome to the forum. Both of thse KvKs look like great keepers to me. I am really into the version without swords. Thank you for sharing!
    10. Thanks man! It was one of my first. I got it back in 92 for cheap because of the less than perfect enamel.
    11. Since he never wore it on his uniform in battle, how do you think it got to be in such a condition? IT is amazing that the award still found the veteran, five years after the event. A really a cool item with a significant story. Thank you for sharing it.
    12. I would love to have either a Cold War related order(Vietnam, Korea, Cuban Missile Crisis, and etc) or a nice set to an Afghan War vet.
    13. Bob. I have not seen those before. Can you tell when they were printed? I know that they are after 2003, but the weapons and uniforms seem to show that they were toward the end of the US involvment?
    14. Here it is: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/10333-screwback-order-of-the-red-banner/?hl=stalingrad#entry100559
    15. Of all of my years of collecting, I only have one low number ORB screwback. I was happy with the research that made it for a Stalingrad vet.
