    1. I may have missed the answer in my forum search, but did S&L ever mark their Spanish Crosses "L/16"? The hardware on the back doesn't look anything like those pictured above. Scott
    2. Outstanding photos Gordon! I've been trying to find a nice postcard photo of the Kreuzer Karlsruhe...
    3. Nice find - that's a beauty! Scott
    4. I'm not used to seeing the ribbons tucked up tight in the back. Was this a common bar making technique for the period? Scott
    5. I had this ring made by a jeweler when I became an instructor pilot in the USAF. It's a pair of sterling AAF sweetheart wings mated to a sterling band. It's held up well after nearly 20 years of wear.
    6. I like it too. Is that the raised Souval 'circle' mark on the lower center? Scott
    7. I've wondered the same thing. From my review of pictures in this forum, most (but not all) bars with this medal have the type with the little wedge-shape just below the suspension loop (like the one in the center above). Don't know if that's significant or not . Scott
    8. Unfortunately, I don't have a weight scale; but my Osang-marked, tombac bronze bomber measures: 76.82mm wide (tip to tip) by 25.86mm (center wreath, top to bottom) Scott

      Luftwaffe Medal Bar

Francois, I have some extra room in my display case if you need to spread things out in yours a bit! Happy Holidays. Scott
    10. What? - no giant 'GODET' mark on the back of these? That is a super rare set for sure. Scott
    11. A fantastic grouping Jacques! Scott
