Stogieman Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Here's a pix of the cased one. #7186 if memory serves
utopis Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 This case was quite strange. While the most part of it was in a bright red color the lid had a dark almost brownish hue as it should be. Has anyone seen such a type?
Stogieman Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I finally found a Second Class Star! #931 en-route to me now! Here's the seller's pix

Gunner 1 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 In posts #85 to #87 in this thread I illustrated the Partisan Star and certificate to Soviet Lieutenant Anatolii Ivanovich Akulshin. Just discovered that he was also awarded an Order of the Red Star by the Soviets.
bilylev Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Hello, few more informations. I have Mondvor 2nd class numbered 5 179 (handgraved) and 3rd class IKOM numbered 22 012 (stamped). Partisan stars were awarded also to other nationalities. I have seen 1st class awarded to a Czechoslovak general after the war. Jan
bilylev Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Czechoslovak army general Bohumil Bocek received two Partisan stars 1st class, see http://forum.valka.cz/viewtopic.php/p/256646#256646 Jan
new world Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Here's another cavalier of 1st class Partisan Star - General Dobri Terpeshev, commander of Bulgarian partisan movement NOVA (People Liberation Rebel Army). http://bg.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%94%D0%BE%D0%B1%D1%80%D0%B8_%D0%A2%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%88%D0%B5%D0%B2
paja Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 (edited) I saw quite a lot of 1st class stars in Bulgarian National museum of military history, unfortunately taking pictures is forbidden. I presume that the most of the Bulgarians received this order on the Syrmian Front where they fought together with Yugoslav and Soviet forces. Edited December 23, 2013 by paja

Do you happen to know the names of those Bulgarians awarded with 1st class Partisan Star?

Unfortunately nо, I'm not very familiar with Bulgarian generals and officers from that era so I forgot their names almost instantly Edited December 27, 2013 by paja
paja Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) I've been meaning to start a topic about some let's say strange Yugoslav Partisan Stars but this seemed like a better place for expressing my doubts. What do you think about this second class order? http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-69972100-1391986646.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-06273900-1391986658.jpg Those very shinny screw nuts always scare me, back side of the order is also strange - especially the number, could be bad picture but it seems like everything except the first digit is unreadable. I've been following discussion about this matter on various forums but I would also like to hear opinions of the participants in this topic. Thanks in advance. Edited February 9, 2014 by paja
paja Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 One more "shinny" piece, notice the big contrast in color between the edges of the star and the wreath around it. Looks like someone painted the wreath but missed couple of spots... http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-06820300-1391987347.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-89230500-1391987387.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-05354100-1391987409.jpg
paja Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Same thing here and one more (in my opinion) strange looking number. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-69776900-1391987658.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-75816000-1391987703.jpg http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-31927200-1391987718.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-50487200-1391987737.jpg
paja Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 ...and again... http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-94612300-1391987946.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-72036800-1391988086.jpg
paja Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 ...and again. Roman numeral stamped twice on this one. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-73786600-1391988258.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2014/post-7937-0-39920200-1391988284.jpg
paja Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Do you happen to know the names of those Bulgarians awarded with 1st class Partisan Star? Taralejkov, Stefan (Таралежков, Стефан).
paja Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Stojchev, Vladimir (Стойчев, Владимир). Photos found on boina slava forum.
BalkanCollector Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) I've never seen this order with a pin until today. Edited October 17, 2016 by BalkanCollector
paja Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 I've seen converted types before but not with that type of needle. You can see at least one more example in this topic here. Based on the type of needle I'd say they were both converted in IKOM.
