leigh kitchen Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Reserve Leutnant - but with black waffenfarbe instead of blue, the device, which is of a bronze coloured metal tombac? rather than plated zinc looks like it's been there for sometime - a make do at the time, or a more recent make up?
Laurence Strong Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 The Luft reserve indicator was blue. This one is probably reserve Heer Pio
leigh kitchen Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Yes, I was wondering, the matt rather than shiny braid, & of course, the black rather than blue - at least i have'nt (had'nt) got an army pionier reserve Lt. Sold as a LW reserve medical Lt, it has a nice little emblem, the only one I've got on any insignia that isn't zinc.

Paul R Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 I love both photos. That officer candidate is stunning. You find the best photos.
Hans Kristian Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Well, this is an interesting thread. I can offer this named FB, show on WAF previously..Included is a photo of the tunic worn by the owner..It is one of my favorites I must say. Note the alignment of the EK2 band and the SWB..;) A recent purchase, a 4-pocket tunic, started out in the DLV (notice pockets) and later carried over to LW.
Hans Kristian Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 (edited) Anyway, here a pair of shoulder straps to a Fänrich, a military medical student, rank equivalent to an Unterfeldwebel. And a photo of the boards in wear.. Just a funny little phot of 2 LW medical doctors ...and a dog..;) Edited February 20, 2019 by Hans Kristian
LarryT Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 LW driver stands in front of his Phanomen Granit 27 ambulance. Cheers, Larry
nesredep Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Hi PaulR, Here is some news in my collection that I think fits in your thread. When I fold out the plan it is very difficult to take pictures of as it is very large. Cheers,Morten.
