Mike Dwyer Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) Claudio,I have the brother to yours! (Except mine is a little bit dirtier!)Front- Edited December 17, 2008 by Mike Dwyer
Claudio Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 @ nice little brother, Mark! Here's another not quite so pristine, but in very good conditions with the ribbons a bit faded by light exposure.
Claudio Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 ...and the reverse; moth attack! But fortunately just a little bit...
saschaw Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Ah Claudio, you won it? Simple, but though a very nice one, really. What are those maker marks on the Honour Crosses? First is a "CEJ" for C.E. Juncker, berlin - but what are those two others?! Never seen before... is that "GEBR. G. & CO, BERLIN" ?! :speechless1:
nesredep Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 ...and the reverse; moth attack! But fortunately just a little bit...Hello!Very nice,i like it a lot. All the bestNesredep

Claudio Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Another pristine pre-1934 Godet's medal bar.Ciao,Claudio
dond Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Interesting that Godet used awards from other makers on some bars instead of the ones they produced. Perhaps the recipiant supplied them.
Claudio Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Thank you Seeheld for showing your Godet's Frackspange. It has quite a weird but nice backing... I have never seen anything like this. Is it possible to be able to determine until when Godet applied the metallic labels on the back and when they started using the black with white inscription labels? I'd say that the metallic labels there were applied in the 20ies and the other from the earlier 30ies...Any ideas or any hard evidence on labels?ciao,Claudio
